Falcon Robotic Island – Palletizing

FIPAL designs and manufactures dedicated robotic island solutions such as FALCON. This is a multifunction robot for handling products of any shape and size, ensuring maximum application flexibility.

The use of multifunction robots in the packaging sector is steadily increasing. For this reason, FIPAL has launched FALCON, an anthropomorphic-arm multifunction robot available in 4- or 6-axis versions, which can be equipped with various gripping heads.

When used as a palletizing robot, FALCON can be equipped with:

  • Gripping clamps for single or multiple containers, with integrated pallet and slip sheet handling, ideal for boxes, bundles, packs, as well as demijohns and 5-gallon bottles.
  • Gripping heads with opening roller decks or “fork-type” plates, allowing palletizing up to 300 layers/h in the first case and up to 600 layers/h in the second, ideal in combination with the EASY TURN SYSTEM or the DYNAMIC BOX layer preparation system—state-of-the-art solutions ensuring maximum speed, reliability, and smooth operation of the line.
  • Side-pad layer gripping heads, ideal for plastic crates.
  • Vacuum layer gripping heads, suitable for full/empty tinplate containers, PET, cans, and also cartons—especially in repacking lines.
  • Magnetic plate layer gripping heads, ideal for tinplate containers.

The FALCON robot therefore offers multiple applications, guaranteeing the highest levels of flexibility, reliability, and precision.

Designed and built with advanced technologies and materials, FALCON has another major advantage: once the work cycle is programmed, no further adjustments or recalibrations are required.
